The May Ling Dress is a new dress this season. This dress has two layers, the front panel of the under layer is short and shirt-like, whilst the back panel is long to match the upper front panel, with buttons on top to attach the two layers. There are also ties that come from the upper front panel, which can be tied around at the back waist, binding the whole look together. The dress is mid-length and collarless. There is a brass ball button at the centre front neck, which stands out as a focal point in contrast to the other covered dome buttons, which sit and attach at the top and down the sides of the front upper panel. There are two versions. The ‘golden spice’ oxford viscose colourway feels occasional, with short sleeves. There is also a more relaxed and playful striped, brown shirting version, which has three quarter length sleeves. Both versions can have the sleeves rolled up to create a more casual look.
