This season we introduce a tailored dress made in a tailoring wool gabardine fabric. The dress as the impression of a traditional navy blazer, yet it also showcases unexpected elements; there are extended wide shoulders, centre front buttons spaced close together, and an upturned collar - which echoes the silhouette of a mandarin collar. There are two welt pockets as well as and a chest pocket to one side. 

Moreover, belt loops sit at the side for the contrast inky green satin fabric belt to thread through and create a spontaneous rouching knot at the back. This adds a sense of ‘dress’ to the otherwise formal and tailored look, synching in the waistline and creating a theatrical gathering of fabric.
